Beschrijving voorzijde The national coat of arms of Cameroon is depicted at centre, featuring a shield with a balance scale and star, flanked by decorative supporters, set against a wavy patterned field. A circular legend around the periphery reads the country name in French and the date 2024 appears in the upper field. The denomination '500 FRANCS CFA' is inscribed in the lower portion of the field, with bilingual national mottos 'PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE' and 'PEACE WORK FATHERLAND' flanking the arms. The fineness designation 'Ag 999' and mint mark appear below the coat of arms. The entire field is rendered with a decorative wavy milled background.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse features a full-colour rectangular inlaid panel reproducing Gustav Klimt's oil painting 'Portrait of Fräulein Lieser' (c. 1917), depicting a standing female figure in a green dress draped with a richly flowered shawl against a vivid red background. An amber gemstone insert is inlaid into the left field of the coin, outside the painted panel. The artist's name 'Gustav Klimt' is inscribed vertically in raised letters on the right field of the coin, outside the painted insert. The surrounding coin field is finished in a rose-gold coloured treatment with a textured decorative pattern. The overall composition reflects the Viennese Secessionist artistic style associated with Klimt's mature portraiture.
