| Popis rubu | The entire reverse field is occupied by a full-colour reproduction of Jacek Malczewski's celebrated 1897 portrait of Feliks Jasieński, rendered in vivid polychrome enamel printing. The subject is depicted in a frontal, three-quarter view, a bearded gentleman in a dark jacket and cravat, his hands resting on the lower edge of a ledge or frame and gazing directly at the viewer with a commanding intensity. Flanking him on both sides are allegorical figural elements drawn from Malczewski's characteristic Symbolist iconography, including mythological or folkloric figures rendered in warm ochre and russet tones against a landscape background of pale blue sky and blossoming branches. The overall composition faithfully reproduces the painterly quality and atmospheric depth of the original canvas. |
