The butterfly is presented as if magnified and observed through a functional convex lens inset into the coin's field, the lens element encircled by a detailed silver-finished magnifying glass with an ornate handle extending toward the right. The surrounding field is enriched with a colour-printed naturalistic background of lush tropical foliage in green tones.
