| Obverse description | Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left occupies the central field, the date divided to either side of the truncation reading '20' and '24'. A fine guilloche lattice pattern fills the background field. The legend 'CHARLES III' arcs across the upper portion of the coin, followed by the denomination '500 FRANCS CFA' continuing to the right, while 'REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON' curves along the lower rim. The engraver's initials 'MJ' appear in small letters below the king's portrait. A border of raised dots frames the entire design. |

| Reverse description | A fully colourised Indian cobra (Naja naja) in a raised strike pose occupies the centre of the field, its hood spread wide, rendered in naturalistic brown tones against a partially colourised landscape depicting rocky mountainous terrain beneath a vivid golden-orange sunset. The background landscape is rendered in monochrome silver save for the colourised sun and sky. An arched decorative cartouche in the upper right field bears the series inscription 'INDIAN LIFE' surmounted by a stylised temple motif. The outer border is treated with a distinctive red glitter finish. The weight and fineness inscription '.999 FINE SILVER 1/2 OZ' appears along the lower portion of the field. |
