Reverse description A fully colourised Indian cobra (Naja naja) in a raised strike pose occupies the centre of the field, its hood spread wide, rendered in naturalistic brown tones against a partially colourised landscape depicting rocky mountainous terrain beneath a vivid golden-orange sunset. The background landscape is rendered in monochrome silver save for the colourised sun and sky. An arched decorative cartouche in the upper right field bears the series inscription 'INDIAN LIFE' surmounted by a stylised temple motif. The outer border is treated with a distinctive red glitter finish. The weight and fineness inscription '.999 FINE SILVER 1/2 OZ' appears along the lower portion of the field.
