Obverse description The national coat of arms of the Togolese Republic occupies the central field, depicting two lions rampant as supporters flanking a shield charged with the monogram 'RT', surmounted by two crossed national flags bearing the motto words TRAVAIL and PATRIE on either side, with LIBERTE arching above.
