| Descripción del reverso | The reverse presents a colourised reproduction of a floral still life rendered in the Impressionist manner, depicting a bouquet of mixed blooms — including roses, anemones, and leafy stems — arranged in a blue Rococo-style porcelain vase set upon a tabletop, the whole viewed through a convex domed magnifying lens insert at the centre. The central medallion is framed by an elaborate border of gilt Rococo scrollwork and acanthus-leaf ornaments applied against a black lacquered ground, creating a rich decorative surround that echoes the Baroque and Rococo aesthetic of the vase depicted within. The composition is free of inscriptions on the reverse, with all visual interest concentrated on the interplay between the coloured central image and the ornate gilt filigree border. |
