| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of Cameroon centrally placed in the inner field, depicting a shield surmounted by two crossed fasces and a star, with a balance scale below, all within a scrolled cartouche bearing the bilingual legends REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON and REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN. Surrounding the arms, the denominating legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper field, with 500 FRANCS CFA inscribed prominently beneath. The motto TRAVAIL / WORK and PATRIE / FATHERLAND appear in the mid-field flanking the arms, with the date 2025 to the lower left and the purity mark Ag999 to the lower right.
