Aanvullende informatie

Togo has no meaningful historical connection to Einstein, and this coin was never legal tender in any practical sense — it was produced entirely for the collector market under licensing arrangements that were common among West African CFA states in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The Republic of Togo, like several of its neighbors, leased its sovereign issuing authority to foreign minting agencies during this period, resulting in a flood of commemorative silver pieces bearing subjects entirely unrelated to Togolese history or culture.
