| Aanvullende informatie |
Cameroon's modern commemorative program has leaned heavily into novelty inserts and themed wildlife issues since the mid-2010s, largely produced under contract by the Berne-based Swissmint or European private mints rather than through any domestic minting capacity — Cameroon has no sovereign mint of its own. These pieces circulate exclusively in collector markets and are legal tender in name only.
The magnifying glass insert is a polycarbonate or resin lens element, a format pioneered for the collector coin market around 2010 and since applied to dozens of African wildlife issues. Functional as a lens in only the loosest sense.
