| Obverse description | The oval flan features an elaborate openwork-style filigree border of scrolling acanthus and foliate arabesques framing the central field. Within a quatrefoil cartouche at centre, the denomination and issuer legend are inscribed in multiple lines. The fineness mark 'Ag 925' appears to the left of the cartouche. The entire design is executed in high relief, imparting a decorative, lace-like character to the obverse. |
