| Reverse description | The reverse presents a full-color reproduction of John James Audubon's celebrated plate depicting two American white ibis (Eudocimus albus) in a naturalistic wetland setting. The adult bird at left displays its characteristic white plumage, vivid red decurved bill, and red legs, while the immature bird at right shows the brownish-grey juvenile plumage with a bluish-grey bill. Both birds face one another against a background of rocks and vegetation.
