Beschrijving voorzijde	Central vignette presents a scenic view of the Hassan Tower and the ruins of the Hassan Mosque gardens in Rabat, rendered in fine intaglio engraving with rich colour. A circular watermark area appears to the left, while the denomination "500" is printed in large numerals at upper left and right. The issuer's name "BANQUE D'ÉTAT DU MAROC" runs along the top in letterpress, with the value "CINQ CENTS FRANCS" inscribed across the lower margin.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse is dominated by an elaborate intaglio vignette of an ornate Moroccan horseshoe arch doorway rendered in intricate geometric and arabesque tilework, evoking traditional Maghrebi architectural decoration. The denomination "500" appears centrally within the arch, flanked by the Arabic issuer's inscription and the denomination in Arabic script at the corners. A blank watermark oval panel is positioned at the right, with the legend "CINQ CENTS FRANCS" across the top and engravers' signatures at lower left and right.
