| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a decorative Gothic quatrefoil cartouche occupying the central field, the denomination '500' is inscribed in large numerals above the legend 'FORINT / MAGYAR / KÖZTÁRSASÁG' in stacked lines. Below, the mint mark 'BP.' and the date '1990' are inscribed, with the engraver's monogram of András Kis Nagy visible at the base of the cartouche.
