Reverse description A highly detailed frontal effigy of Saint László (King Ladislaus I) dominates the field, depicted in the manner of a medieval icon with stylized facial features, long hair, a flowing beard, and a richly ornamented royal crown. A circular halo-like border surrounds the bust, and the king wears a finely detailed chainmail or latticed ceremonial garment. The Latin legend 'LADISLAUS REX CANONISATUS 1192' curves along the upper and right periphery, with the engraver's initials 'LF' appearing in the lower right field.
