| Obverse description | Intaglio-printed portrait of Hungarian poet Ady Endre set within an oval vignette at right, his name inscribed on a ribbon below. The left field carries the denomination title ÖTSZÁZ FORINT in bold letterpress above the issuing date and the bank name MAGYAR NEMZETI BANK, all over a multicolour guilloche underprint with a central rosette in yellow and green. Three facsimile signatures appear across the lower centre, and the denomination numeral 500 is repeated in the top corners and in the dark ornamental border band at foot. |
