Obverse description The allegorical figure of the Sower, a classical emblem of French republican coinage, is depicted striding before the French tricolor flag, her gaze directed toward the monogram 'RF' inscribed to her right. Her traditional seed bag has been stylistically transformed into a domed vessel, while ears of wheat rise prominently beside her in the field, symbolizing the fruition of France's cultural and economic influence. The facial expression conveys serene determination, reflecting a calmer reinterpretation of the traditional Sower motif. The face value and denomination are inscribed on a stepped platform at her feet, in deliberate visual parallel to the base upon which the original Sower of Oscar Roty's design stands, with the date '2024' positioned immediately above. The engraver's initials 'JM' appear in the field alongside the legend 'RF 500 €'.
