| Reverse description | The reverse presents a powerful rearing horse rendered in high relief at the center of the design, its musculature and flowing mane depicted with exceptional sculptural detail. The horse emerges dynamically from a circular decorative border ring, which is richly ornamented with Chinese floral and mythological motifs in low relief. To the left of the horse, the Chinese character '馬' (meaning 'horse') is prominently inscribed in the field within the inner ring.
