The complete Armenian alphabet, comprising 38 letters, encircles the central motif as a continuous border legend running along the inner periphery of the coin, separated by a small floral ornament. The design celebrates the Armenian script created by Mesrop Mashtots in the 5th century AD. The overall composition presents the letter in an elegant typographic style against a polished field. |
