The complete Armenian alphabet is arranged in a continuous circular legend around the periphery, reading from upper left and encircling the entire design. The highly polished proof-like fields contrast with the frosted relief of the central letter, creating a cameo effect. A small decorative floral ornament separates the beginning and end of the alphabetic legend at the top of the coin. |
