| Obverse description | The Armenian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting an eagle and a lion supporting a shield quartered with symbols of historical Armenian dynasties, surmounted by a sword, a branch, and a chain. The Armenian legend ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ (Republic of Armenia) arcs along the upper periphery in Armenian script.
