The central motif is the grand arched portal with multiple receding mouldings and elaborate sculptural ornamentation, including rows of standing figures in niched canopies and intricately carved tracery. A red Tiffany-style art glass insert is set within the arched doorway at centre, lending a warm amber luminescence to the composition.
