| Obverse description | A highly detailed architectural rendering of the Palace of Westminster occupies the full field of the obverse, depicting the Gothic Revival facade in extraordinary relief with prominent spires, including the Victoria Tower at left and the Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben) at right. At centre-lower, a rectangular aperture is inset with a red Tiffany-style art glass element depicting an arched doorway, with the legend 'Tiffany Art Metropolis' incuse to its left. The Coat of Arms of the Republic of Palau appears in the upper centre beneath an arching legend, with the denomination '500 Dollars' inscribed in the field below it.
