| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central design features the heraldic double-tailed Czech lion rampant, the principal charge of the coat of arms of the Czech Republic, rendered in bold sculptural relief. Above the lion is displayed the Crown of Saint Wenceslas, the historic Bohemian coronation crown, depicted with elaborate jewelled detail. A shield bearing the emblematic burning eagle of Saint Wenceslas, patron of Bohemia, is integrated into the composition. The legend ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA arcs along the lower portion of the field, with the fineness and weight designation 10oz Au 999.9 inscribed within the design. |

The Czech Lion bullion series, produced by the Czech Mint for Niue, launched in 2016 and rapidly became one of the more commercially successful sovereign-backed gold programs in Central Europe. The one-kilogram and ten-ounce formats attracted institutional buyers and private collectors across the EU, partly because Czech Mint's relationship with Niue allowed for legal tender status without the bureaucratic overhead of issuing under Czech or Slovak authority.
The 10 oz format sits at an awkward price point — too heavy for casual stacking, too common for serious rarity collectors — but the .9999 fineness and Czech Mint's consistently tight production tolerances have kept secondary market premiums stable.
