The Wedge-tailed Eagle series from Perth is among the few modern bullion-adjacent programs where the proof high-relief strikes genuinely justify the premium — the extra die pressure required to fill the deeply recessed fields produces a level of three-dimensional separation that standard proof strikes on flat-relief designs simply cannot replicate. Perth has been refining this particular high-relief technique since the early 2010s, and the 2018 iteration benefits from incremental improvements to their die-preparation process.
Mintage for this issue was capped at 100 pieces worldwide.
