Description de l’avers	Central vignette rendered in intaglio shows seven women, the designers of the Liberian national flag, gathered around the flag they are sewing, set against a radiant guilloche background. The denomination numeral "500" appears in the upper right corner alongside the inscription "FIVE HUNDRED", with two facsimile signatures of the Minister of Finance and Development Planning and the Executive Governor below; the seal of the Central Bank of Liberia is positioned at lower right. A vertical green security thread runs through the left portion of the note, with the serial number printed twice in the left margin and in red vertically at right.
