Reverse description The field is entirely plain and uninscribed, presenting a flat, featureless surface consistent with a reverse trial strike intended to test planchet quality and die pressure rather than display finished design elements. At the very bottom of the field, a small incuse maker's mark or die identification legend reading 'MET. GORI & ZUCCHI' is present in minute Latin lettering, identifying the Italian metallurgical firm responsible for the production of the planchet or die. The overall surface shows the characteristic flatness and absence of design typical of trial reverses.
