Opmerkingen

Bosnia declared independence in March 1992, and the National Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina was established almost immediately under wartime conditions. With no printing infrastructure of its own and the Yugoslav dinar still nominally in circulation, the new authority issued transitional notes — effectively overprinted or hastily produced domestic currency — to assert financial separation from Belgrade.

P#7 is among the earliest issues of the series. Circulation was chaotic; hyperinflation in the broader Yugoslav successor states meant denominations escalated rapidly, and 500 dinara had negligible purchasing power within months of issue.
