Obverse description Central field bears a multi-line Persian inscription in Naskh script enclosed within a beaded inner circle, commemorating the return of Shah Nāṣer al-Dīn from his European journey in the year 1307 AH. The inscription reads 'بجشن مقدم، شاهنشاهی از سفر فرنگ ۱۳۰۷', celebrating the auspicious arrival of the Shahanshah. The central device is framed by a wreath of oak and olive branches tied with a ribbon at the base. A Qajar imperial crown surmounts the composition at the top of the wreath. The overall design is rendered in the refined engraving style characteristic of late Qajar commemorative coinage.

Reverse description Central device depicts the imperial Iranian lion passant to the right, brandishing a straight sword in its right forepaw, with a radiant sun rising behind its back — the traditional Shir-o-Khorshid emblem of the Qajar dynasty. The lion and sun device rests upon a flat ground line, beneath which the denomination '۵۰۰ دینار' (500 Dinars) is inscribed in Arabic script within a rectangular cartouche. The entire central composition is encircled by a beaded border and flanked by a decorative wreath of oak and olive branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow. A Qajar imperial crown appears at the apex above the wreath. The reverse is struck in high relief with a fine milled border running along the coin's edge.
