Obverse description Central field bears a four-line Arabic inscription within a beaded inner circle, reading the royal titulature of Nāṣer al-Dīn Shāh Qājār. The legend is framed by an open wreath of oak leaves tied with a ribbon at the base, with the mint name Tehran appearing at the very bottom outside the wreath. The overall design is executed in a bold calligraphic style characteristic of Qajar-era coinage, with the text arranged in a slightly curved, stacked format filling the central medallion.
