Mohammad Ali Shah's reign was cut short in 1909 when constitutionalist forces, backed by Bakhtiari tribal militias, marched on Tehran and deposed him — yet his name continued appearing on coinage struck well after his removal, as the Qajar mint worked through existing dies under his successor Ahmad Shah. This overlap in die use is the reason the type spans to 1918 despite Mohammad Ali's political irrelevance after July 1909.
KM#1010 is known with minor die variations in the solar year numerals, worth examining closely on any example from the later date range.
