The issuer name arches across the upper margin, with the face value inscription displayed below the central vignette. An intricate guilloche underprint frames the entire composition.

Reverse description The Bolivian national coat of arms occupies the central vignette as a detailed medallion, surrounded by an elaborate guilloche border in purple. The denomination numeral 500 appears in large figures at left and right, with the issuer name arching above and the value inscriptions in two lines below the arms. The American Bank Note Company imprint appears at the lower margin.
