| 表面の説明 | The national coat of arms of Rwanda occupies the central field within a raised inner circle, depicting the quartered shield with traditional Rwandan motifs, flanked by a sorghum stalk to the left and a coffee branch to the right, with a sun at the top and an intertwined knot at the base. A ribbon below the shield bears the national motto in the legend. The circular outer legend reads BANKI NKURU Y'U RWANDA at top and AMAFARANGA 500 MAGANA ATANU along the bottom, with AG 999 to the lower left and the date 2013 to the lower right of the field. |

Rwanda's commemorative bullion program has leaned heavily on the Chinese lunar calendar since the early 2010s, an unusual editorial choice for a landlocked East African nation with no historical connection to the cycle. The KM#105 issue pairs gold-plated .999 silver with Czech pavé-set stones — work almost certainly contracted to a Central European mint, most likely in the Czech Republic or Slovakia, where the lapidary infrastructure for this type of production is concentrated.
Collector utility is limited. The plating precludes melt value, and the gemstone setting makes third-party grading impractical.
