| 裏面の説明 | A highly sculptural, gold-plated three-dimensional effigy of a seated monkey dominates the reverse, rendered in fine naturalistic detail with individually textured fur. The monkey is depicted in a frontal-facing posture, holding aloft a Chinese yuanbao ingot bowl in both hands, with additional stacked cash coins and a yuanbao ingot arranged at its feet. The base of the composition features a decorative border of traditional Chinese coin motifs and beaded ornament, all executed in gold-plated high relief against the silver field. The legend YEAR OF THE MONKEY 2016 is inscribed in the lower field of the coin. |
