Aanvullende informatie

Rwanda's National Bank has issued a sustained series of lunar-themed collector coins, positioning the country as an unlikely but active player in the commemorative bullion market since the early 2000s. The 2015 goat issue belongs to this program, which targets the Chinese diaspora collector base and is distributed primarily through European wholesale dealers rather than domestic circulation channels.

The "red gold" plating here refers to rose-tinted gold electroplating over fine silver — a finishing technique that became commercially prominent in the mid-2000s and is now standard across several Swiss and German private minting contractors who produce under African sovereign licenses.
