Aanvullende informatie

Rwanda's participation in the Olympics has been modest but consistent since its first appearance at the 1984 Los Angeles Games. This issue is part of a broader wave of sub-Saharan African commemorative silver struck not for domestic circulation but almost entirely for the international collector market — Rwanda's low mint fees and cooperative licensing arrangements made it a favored issuer for European distributors throughout the 2000s and 2010s.
