Aanvullende informatie

Rwanda has no native leopard population. The choice of subject for this bullion issue was purely commercial — the "Big Five" and African wildlife series were a reliable sales formula for sovereign mints and licensing issuers targeting the collector bullion market in the late 2000s, and several small African nations lent their authority to such programs with little direct involvement in the design or distribution process.

KM#81 was produced for Bovia/Coin Invest Trust, the Liechtenstein-based distributor that arranged a significant number of Rwanda's commemorative issues during this period.
