Descrizione del rovescio	A finely detailed full-body effigy of a Marco Polo sheep (Ovis ammon polii) stands in profile facing right, dominating the central field, its massive corkscrew horns rendered with exceptional relief. Rocky mountainous terrain and a sparse, gnarled tree occupy the left background, evoking the high-altitude Central Asian habitat of the species. The legend FAUNA OF ASIA arcs along the upper periphery in incuse lettering, while the inscription MARCOPOLO DEER appears along the lower rim. The date 1998 is inscribed in the lower left field.
