参考资料 P#73
正面描述 The obverse is printed in deep blue tones with an intaglio vignette of the Friday Mosque (Masjid-i-Jami) of Herat positioned at right centre, surrounded by intricate guilloche borders along all four edges. The bank name in Pashto script occupies the upper banner, with the national emblem at upper right and the denomination in Arabic-Indic numerals at upper left and lower right. Two facsimile signatures of bank officials appear in the lower centre above the Afghan solar year 1383, with a promise text in Pashto inscribed across the middle field.

备注

P#73 belongs to the post-Taliban reconstruction series introduced after the 2002 currency reform, when the new afghani replaced the severely debased mujahedeen-era notes at a rate of 1,000 old afghanis to one new. The 500-afghani denomination was one of the higher-value notes in that inaugural polymer-free run, printed on cotton substrate at a time when Afghanistan's monetary infrastructure was being rebuilt almost from scratch under IMF guidance.

The "30.04.1945" print date almost certainly reflects the Afghan Solar Hijri calendar rather than the Gregorian — SH 1383 corresponds to 2004 CE, and that date format is consistent with the series.
