| 备注 |
The 1977 series was issued under the Daoud Khan republic, which had abolished the monarchy four years earlier. Da Afghanistan Bank continued its relationship with Thomas De La Rue through this period — a relationship that would be severed entirely when the Saur Revolution of April 1978 overthrew Daoud and brought the People's Democratic Party to power within a year of this note's issue.
Surviving examples in uncirculated condition are not especially rare, as the political upheaval that followed disrupted rather than accelerated circulation of the higher denominations.
