| Descripción del anverso | Green and beige Stadtkassenschein originally issued as a 100 Mark municipal treasury note, with the face value overprinted in red to read 500 000 Mark; the surcharge numerals '500000' are applied directly over the left-hand vignette panel containing the Berlin civic coat of arms — a standing bear. To the right, the original denomination 'Hundert Mark' is set in Gothic blackletter over a green guilloche underprint, with the issuing authority 'Magistrat der Reichshauptstadt' and date '11. Okt. 1922' below, accompanied by two facsimile signatures. An ornamental green border with repeating floral and diamond motifs frames the note, with the corner numerals '100' retained from the underlying printed design. |
