| 备注 |
Ansbach's municipal council issued this note during the hyperinflation peak of 1923, when even mid-sized Bavarian towns were compelled to print their own emergency currency — Notgeld — simply to meet payroll and keep local commerce moving. The Reichsbank could not supply denominations fast enough as prices doubled within days.
Municipal issues from provincial Bavarian cities are frequently printed locally on whatever stock was available, and paper quality on Ansbach Notgeld varies considerably within the same series. Worth examining the reverse for the printer's imprint, which is sometimes absent entirely on rushed runs.
