| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in tan on plain paper and carries a simple, uncluttered composition centred on the denomination numeral "500000 Mark" within a plain ruled rectangular cartouche. Above and below this cartouche the inscription "Stadt Haspe" appears twice in bold roman type. The entire design is enclosed by a decorative border composed of repeated rosette medallions arranged in a continuous chain, giving the reverse a restrained but orderly appearance typical of provincial Notgeld issues of the hyperinflation period. |
