| Obverse description | Plain letterpress Notgeld voucher (Gutschein) printed in black on cream paper within a zigzag-rule border, with the denomination 'Fünfhunderttausend Mark' set in large script typeface at centre and the numeral '500 000 Mark' at upper right. Below the denomination, a two-line redemption clause references the Laufener Wochenblatt, with the issue date 'Laufen (Obb.), 22. August 1923' immediately beneath.
