| Obverse description | Typeset notgeld note printed in dark violet on grey-beige paper, with an elaborate guilloche underprint filling the central field. The denomination "Fünfhunderttausend Mark" is set in large Gothic blackletter script beneath the heading "Gutschein über", with the numeral 500000 repeated in the upper and lower border panels. A four-line validity clause in Gothic script states acceptance at all public treasuries of the Siegkreis, followed by the place and date "Siegburg, 2. Aug. 1923" at lower left, with the authority line "Der Landrat i.V." and a manuscript signature above the printed title "Kreisdeputierter" at lower right. The outer border consists of a repeating foliate ornamental frame. |
