| Obverse description | Dark brown letterpress note with a decorative guilloche border carrying the legend KREIS MOERS in the lateral margins and denomination numerals 500 000 repeated in the upper and lower panels. At the top centre, an industrial gear vignette serves as the district emblem, flanked by the issuer name KREIS MOERS in bold Gothic lettering, while the denomination Fünfhunderttausend Mark is rendered in large Fraktur script across the middle field above a central oval vignette of a bound wheat sheaf.
