| 备注 |
Adorf im Vogtland is a small Saxon town in the Vogtland district, and like hundreds of German municipalities in 1923, its Stadtrat issued emergency currency — Notgeld — when hyperinflation made Reichsbank supply entirely inadequate for daily commerce. By mid-1923, half a million marks was roughly the cost of a loaf of bread, and local authorities had no practical choice but to print their own denominations to keep transactions moving at all.
Vogtland municipal Notgeld from this period is modestly collected but rarely exceptional in provenance. The Stadtrat series attracts regional specialists more than general collectors.
