| 正面描述 | Central field contains a multi-line Latin epitaph inscription set within a raised rectangular tablet or cartouche, reading: SIGISMUNDI III. / EX CONSTANTIA AUSTRIACA FILIUS ALTER, / PER 20. ANOS CUM ADVERSA / FORTUNA LUCTATUS FORTITER / POST GESTACUM COSACIS, / TARTARIS, SVECIS, MOSCHIS, / HUNGARIS, ET PROH DOLOR CU / POLONIS BELLA, MALORUM / PERTAESUS REGIUM DIADEMA / DEPOSUIT. OBIIT ORBUS / NIVERNIAE IN GALLIA / A.D. 1672. AETAT: 61. The outer legend along the upper rim reads RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA • 50 ZŁ, with the denomination flanking the right side. The mint year 20 21 appears at the bottom of the field, flanking the Polish eagle emblem of the Mint of Poland (MW), rendered in fine relief. The overall design closely replicates the style of a 17th-century commemorative medal, with the epitaph text evoking the funerary inscriptions of the Baroque period. |

| 背面描述 | A finely detailed bust of King John II Casimir Vasa (Joannes Casimirus) in high relief, facing left, depicted with long flowing curled hair in the manner of 17th-century Baroque portraiture. He is shown wearing a lace cravat and partial armour visible at the lower right shoulder, consistent with the iconography of a contemporary royal or military portrait medal. The legend JOANNES CASIMIRUS. arcs along the upper rim in Roman capitals. The engraver's signature I.I.R. F. appears in small letters beneath the bust in the lower field. The composition closely reproduces the style of an original 17th-century medal, presenting the king with dignity and naturalistic modelling characteristic of the period. |
