Commenti	The ZiG — short for Zimbabwe Gold — was introduced in April 2024 as Zimbabwe's sixth attempt at a stable currency since the hyperinflationary collapse of the Zimbabwe dollar in 2008. Unlike its predecessors, it is formally backed by a combination of gold reserves and foreign currency held by the Reserve Bank, a structural constraint designed specifically to prevent the money-printing that destroyed every earlier iteration. Whether that discipline holds is an open question the market is already testing. The "s" suffix on the Pick reference denotes a specimen.
