| Obverse description | Brown letterpress print on a plain ground. The central vignette consists of an ornate cartouche enclosing the denomination in large Chinese characters 伍拾圓 (50 Yuan). The bank name 東北銀行 appears at the top, with the serial number prefix NO. B and numeral to either side. The denomination 伍拾 is repeated vertically in the side panels, and two red chop seals appear at the lower left and right. The date 中華民國三十四年 (Republic of China Year 34, i.e. 1945) is printed along the lower margin. |
