Reverse description The reverse depicts a faithful reproduction of the celebrated Tang dynasty cursive-script (caoshu) manuscript 'Zi Xu Tie' by the monk-calligrapher Huaisu, rendered across the central and right portions of the rectangular field. The flowing, energetic brushstrokes of the grass script are reproduced in fine detail against a darkened background suggestive of aged silk or paper. To the left, a tan-toned panel bears large running-script characters identifying the work, with a vertical inscription reading 中国书法艺术·唐·怀素·自叙帖 (Chinese Calligraphic Art — Tang Dynasty — Huaisu — Zi Xu Tie). A small decorative floral element appears in the lower right corner, and the denomination 50元 is inscribed in the lower right field.
